Senior Housing & Civil Litigation Lawyer – Hybrid Role

Kirklees Metropolitan Council is seeking a Principal Lawyer to lead the Litigation and Housing Team in Huddersfield. The role requires a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with a current practising certificate in England and Wales, and substantial civil litigation and public sector housing experience.

You will supervise staff, mentor less‑senior colleagues, and drive housing policy and related litigation while developing to senior legal management.
