P3M Data & Reporting Lead- London, Manchester, Birmingham

Overview

As a Principal P3M Data & Reporting Analyst, you will lead design and delivery of data-driven solutions for effective project management and controls across infrastructure programmes. You’ll shape reporting strategies, build advanced dashboards with Power BI and Excel, and harmonise data from multiple systems. You will mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices, innovation, and thought leadership within the Infra Digital team. This role combines data, governance, and senior stakeholder collaboration to drive project performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital controls solutions aligned to P3M frameworks
• Engage with senior stakeholders to define reporting strategies and translate requirements
• Design and build dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, and other platforms
• Oversee data integration from multiple systems ensuring accuracy and performance
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and structures for enterprise reporting
• Provide guidance on data quality, governance, and reporting best practices
• Mentor and support junior consultants to build capability
• Contribute to thought leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in data/reporting analyst roles in project/programme environments
• Strong understanding of P3M principles and project controls methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel (macros and automation)
• Experience designing and implementing data models and reporting frameworks
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
• Experience leading work packages and mentoring junior colleagues
