Redbridge Council is seeking an experienced and qualified Interim Group Accountant – High Needs Block to lead the financial management of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) funding within the Education & Inclusion Directorate. This is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic financial advice, business partnering, financial planning, forecasting, and performance management to support sustainable, high-quality education services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in financial governance, service transformation, statutory reporting, and ensuring effective management of High Needs Block funding while supporting senior leaders in delivering value for money and improved outcomes for children and young people.
