Secondary Music Teacher – Full TimeRotherham

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary Music Teacher to join welcoming secondary schools in Rotherham on a full-time basis, starting November 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher to inspire students through engaging and creative music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of music
• Be confident teaching practical and theory-based lessons
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to supporting students of all abilities

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Music lessons
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Encouraging creativity, performance, and participation
• Supporting extracurricular music activities where appropriate
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
