Safety-Critical EC&I Assurance Engineer — Hybrid

Amentum in the UK is seeking a Safety Critical Software and Hardware Assurance Engineer to deliver high-quality EC&I engineering expertise for the nuclear and aerospace sectors. You will audit safety-critical FPGA and software, assess safety cases and provide independent technical recommendations across projects and contracts.

You will work with cross-disciplinary teams, apply IEC 61508/DO-178C/DO-254 standards, and mentor junior engineers while supporting development of the CoE within IA&R.
