Overview
In this role you will manage your own conveyancing caseload within the New Homes team at a respected Somerset law firm. You help drive smooth sales transactions for new build sites while supporting team objectives, training, and wellbeing. You will ensure regulatory compliance and provide pragmatic legal advice on complex matters. This position offers exposure to the fast-moving new build sector and a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities
- Manage own conveyancing caseload and support wider New Homes team
- Set up new build sites and oversee related sales transactions
- Complete legal reports for team members
- Oversee daily operations, training, progression and wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with SRA and CQS accreditation
- Manage team capacity and workflow
- Provide coaching and problem-solving support on conveyancing matters
- Assess risk and give pragmatic advice on complex cases
- Handle Help to Buy, freehold, leasehold, shared ownership sales
Key requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in residential or new build conveyancing
- Strong technical and case management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence in working independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
