Fleet Carriage Cleaner (Nights) – Machynlleth, Wales

Salary: Up to 39,075 | Lan at 39.075

Please note: this is a 6 month fixed-term contract

The Role

To Carry out all cleaning duties according to Transport for Wales Rail Limited services the defined procedures following relevant health and safety requirements as directed by the reporting manager and/or relevant managers.

Role responsibilities

  • To carry out cleaning duties to the laid down standards and as allocated.

  • Ensure all duties are carried out safely with the use of supplied PPE adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Liaise with other team members, wider colleagues, and managers / team leaders.

Who we’re looking for

  • Ensure that all PPE supplied is used correctly and maintained accordingly to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Alwaysensure own personal safety and that of others and comply with the relevant health and safety procedures and local procedures.

  • Ensure Transport for Wales Rail cleaning standards are always maintained throughout fleet.

  • Keep up to date with changing safety briefs & policies.

  • Ensure both you and your colleagues are fully PPE equipped at all times.

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
