We are working in partnership with a prestigious independent school to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Temporary Maths Teacher to join their high-achieving Mathematics Department from September to December 2025. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 (depending on experience).
- Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with departmental and school policies.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) and a strong academic background in Mathematics.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level, ideally including A-Level.
- A passion for inspiring young minds and a commitment to high academic standards.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to integrate quickly into a well-established team.
