Head of Property Management – Leeds – (LS1) – £45,000 + Benefits
I’m currently working with a well-established and highly regarded lettings agency, part of a leading UK-wide property group, who are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Property Management to lead their Leeds operation.
This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone who has a strong background in managing large property portfolios and is confident driving performance, improving processes, and leading high-performing teams.
The Role
You’ll take full responsibility for overseeing a sizeable property management function, leading a team of Property Managers and ensuring service delivery is consistent, efficient, and client-focused.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a large team
- Managing relationships with key portfolio landlords and clients
- Overseeing onboarding and training of new team members
- Driving operational improvements and implementing best practice
- Working closely with senior leadership to report on performance and progress
- Handling complex and escalated complaints
- Identifying and delivering improvements across underperforming areas
About You
- ARLA qualified (essential)
- Strong track record managing large property management teams and portfolios
- Confident leader with a hands‑on approach to coaching and development
- Operationally strong, with the ability to streamline processes and improve performance
- Experienced in handling escalations and resolving complex issues
- Familiar with property management systems (Reapit experience would be advantageous)
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
