We are recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians local to you. You will be required to assist in leak detection activities. This is a full‑time role working Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.
The Trainee Field Technician Job Requirements
- Using supplied technology, record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment.
- Work independently within urban/suburban environments.
- Adhere to performance indicators set out by the client.
- Liaise with supervisors.
- Work to achieve targets.
- Manual work that may involve lifting, stretching and bending; experience of driving long hours is beneficial.
Trainee Field Technician skill and experience beneficial to this role
- Experience working outdoors and interacting with members of the public.
- Self‑motivated with an eye for detail and focus on customer service and teamwork.
- A full clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Accreditation in Water Hygiene, Street Works and Manual Handling – full training will be provided.
The Successful Field Technician Must Possess
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK manual driving licence; a vehicle and fuel card will be provided for work purposes.
