Bank Radiology Assistant | Imaging | Wrexham | Flexible working – Availability Required for Tues/Weds/Thurs

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiology Assistant to join our Staffing Bank. This role will support our Radiology and imaging teams located in Spire Yale Hospital, based in Wrexham.

Spire Yale Hospital is located in Wrexham. Wrexham is only 12 miles from Chester and 30–50 minutes from Liverpool and Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care
• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well‑being to the appropriate person
• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience of working as an HCA in a Medical Imaging/Radiology X-Ray department is essential — specifically Ultrasound and MRI
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Experience in cannulation is desirable
• Able to undertake point of care testing is an advantage
