Year 1 to 6 intervention Teaching Assistant

The Education Network Durham is looking for a teaching assistant to work across years 1 to 6 in a Sunderland School. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30, starting September 2026 and running the academic year.

You will lead interventions with a range of pupils.

Qualifications

• Relevant TA or childcare qualification or experience with intervention work.
• Two relevant satisfactory references covering the last 2 years.
• Commitment to the continued success of both pupils and the school.
• Great understanding of the curriculum.
• Can‑do attitude.
