Operating from 12 UK locations, the team provides advice and guidance on mergers and acquisitions, disposals, fundraising, private equity, equity capital markets, due diligence, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, reorganisations, demergers, corporate structures and governance. The Birmingham Corporate team is led by Lee Clifford, who is a Recommended Lawyer and recognised as a Leading Partner in The Legal 500 2026. The team’s specialist experience includes M&A, private equity and restructuring work and advises a wide range of clients, from owner‑managed businesses and investors through to large corporates, on complex and high‑value transactions.
About The Role
The Corporate team is seeking an ambitious individual to join them. Candidates with 3–6 years PQE are invited to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice on mergers and acquisitions, disposals, fundraising, and private equity transactions
- Draft shareholder agreements and support corporate restructurings
- Facilitate joint ventures and equity capital market deals
- Conduct due diligence and advise on reorganisations and demergers
- Build and nurture client relationships from an early stage
- Collaborate seamlessly across our UK offices and work within a fast‑growing corporate practice
Qualifications
- 3–6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to developing client relationships and advancing career
