Role Responsibilities
Provide flexible teaching cover across the prison education setting, supporting learners in subjects such as Functional Skills, Employability, and Construction. Deliver structured sessions, maintain learning, and adapt your approach to keep learners engaged and progressing.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification, with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months.
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Experience creating stimulating, vibrant learning environments that are motivating for learners.
- Track record of achieving quality targets.
- Able to produce accurate and timely reports.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and enthuse learners.
- Organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated positive team working.
