Job Overview

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Carlisle (CA6) for one of the world’s leading parcel delivery networks.

Work Schedule

Drivers shifts: we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis – 1300‑2030 starts, Monday to Friday, average 12 hour shift.

Pay & Benefits

• Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour
• Saturday: £25.94 per hour
• Sunday: £28.95 per hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritise workload to ensure time commitments are met

Qualifications

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Hold a valid, in‑date tachograph & CPC
• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
