Early Years Teaching Assistant – Northumberland | Full Time | September Start (1 Term)

We’re looking for a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Northumberland from September for a full-time, one-term placement.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting young children through play-based learning and helping them build confidence as they begin their educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Support young children through play-based learning to build confidence and develop early literacy and numeracy skills.
• Assist teaching staff with day-to-day activities and help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Early Years experience is desirable
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
• Early Years qualification
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to support children’s learning and development
