The Opportunity
You’ll manage an active caseload of approximately 80-120 personal injury matters, handling a mix of litigated and pre-litigated claims, including:
- Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims
- Employer Liability (EL) claims
- Public Liability (PL) claims
- Credit Hire matters
- Fast Track and Multi-Track litigation (depending on experience level)
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own files, making decisions, and seeing cases through from instruction to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of personal injury files
- Progressing litigated matters in accordance with CPR and litigation protocols
- Drafting court documents, witness statements and instructions to Counsel
- Reviewing liability, quantum and evidential issues
- Conducting settlement negotiations and litigation strategy discussions
- Maintaining excellent client care throughout the lifecycle of a claim
- Achieving performance and financial targets
- Working collaboratively with colleagues while taking ownership of your own caseload
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards
