Teaching Personnel is recruiting a full-time ALN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a welcoming and highly supportive primary school in the Swansea area.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the school for the entire academic year (September 2026 – July 2027), allowing you to build meaningful relationships with pupils and become an integral part of the school community. For the right candidate, there is also the exciting possibility of securing a direct contract with the school following a successful placement.

You don’t need previous classroom experience to be successful in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in nursery, childcare or early years settings.
- Care work, support work or residential care.
- Supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, ALN or additional needs.
- Sports coaching, dance, drama or outdoor education.
- Youth work, mentoring or community projects.
- Mental health or wellbeing support.
- Customer service or hospitality roles where you have developed patience, resilience and excellent communication skills.
