Animal Care Apprentice: Rehab, Adoption Prep & Cat/Dog Care

The RSPCA Ashley Heath Animal Centre is seeking an Animal Care Assistant Apprentice for an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work 35 hours a week caring for cats, dogs and other small pets, with 20% of time devoted to your apprenticeship qualification.

The role involves walking and socialising dogs, caring for animals in the cattery and preparing them for adoption, with on-site hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm and a 1‑hour unpaid lunch break. Bank holidays work may be required.
