Role Overview
We are recruiting a General Secondary Teacher to work on a flexible day‑to‑day basis from September 2027. The role involves providing day‑to‑day cover for planned and unplanned staff absences across a range of subjects in mainstream secondary schools.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons to different year groups while maintaining excellent classroom management.
- Adapt quickly to new school environments and subject areas.
- Support school staff and maintain strong positive relationships with students.
Qualifications
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching within UK mainstream secondary schools
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly across different subjects and school environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching
