Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports children’s development
- Support early literacy, numeracy, and social skills through creative and structured activities
- Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, adapting provision to meet individual needs
- Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support holistic development
- Promote positive behaviour and support children’s emotional wellbeing
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Experienced within Early Years or Reception settings in line with the EYFS framework
- Passionate about child-centred learning and early development
- Creative, caring, and able to engage young learners through play and exploration
- Strong communicators with a collaborative approach to working within school communities
