EXAMINATIONS ASSISTANT or DEPUTY EXAMINATIONS OFFICER (Dependent on Skills and Qualifications)
Location: Stafford College
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent – 37 hours per week
Salary: Examination Assistant: £24,725 – £25,021 per annumDeputy Examinations Officer: £27,031 per annum
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake all areas of examination administration.
- Develop an understanding of the College Exams System (ProSolution) and produce Exam files to and from Awarding Bodies.
- Communicate with Examination Boards, staff, candidates and invigilators.
- Organise detailed arrangements for students to sit exams, including invigilation, rooming, timetables, access arrangements and clash resolution.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner.
- Flexibility to provide cover for peak periods, including some unsocial hours (early morning and evening cover) where appropriate.
- Previous experience of information systems used within an educational setting and experience of examination administration (desirable).
