Social Worker required for work within the Adults Community Mental Health Team in the Devon area. This post will be based in Exeter, which has good transport links to the M5 and A38. Close to the coast and in an area of outstanding national beauty. 37 hours a week with rates up to £31-35ph for experienced candidates.
Location
Home working, with Monthly attendance in person to supervision and team meetings there is the opportunity to work from DCC buildings and some health facilities.

Working in the community with adults aged 18yrs and over, however we do start to work with those transitioning to adulthood from Childrens services at the age of 17 years onwards, with Childrens services retaining responsibility until the person turns 18 years of age.

The successful applicant should be able to undertake Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity assessments & Best Interest outcomes. Complete Community DOLs assessments, must be experienced with CHC checklists and DSTs. Experienced social worker with a good track record to be able to operate from a Strengths Based perspective, demonstrating Least Restrictive Practice. Support the team particularly our Social Care Assessors. Effectively prioritising their day to day case management activities. Confident in working with professional partners across statutory and voluntary sectors, in an MDT approach.
Key Requirements / Qualifications
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
