Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or Shift Manager looking to take the next step with a well-established distribution business? We’re recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager (Nights) to lead a busy warehouse operation, driving performance, safety and service across the night shift.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for leading a team through Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leaders, ensuring the shift runs safely, efficiently and delivers outstanding service levels. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high operational standards while motivating and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse teams to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure orders are picked, loaded and despatched accurately and on time.
- Drive productivity and performance through KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Manage attendance, performance and employee development.
- Deliver regular shift briefings and team engagement activities.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and warehouse standards.
- Champion a strong health & safety culture, completing audits and investigations where required.
- Work closely with transport, stock control and wider operations teams to ensure smooth shift performance.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience leading teams within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong people management and coaching skills.
- Experience managing KPIs and driving operational performance.
- A proactive, organised and hands-on leadership style.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A strong focus on health & safety and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-moving operation.
