Galvanising Operative
Location: SittingbournePay: £13.33 – £15.01 per hourContract: Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for a Production Finisher to join a busy manufacturing environment in Sittingbourne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable working with machinery and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.
Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Shifts Available:
- Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am
- Rotating Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing products ready for the finishing process
- Carrying out finishing duties in line with quality standards
- Operating workshop equipment and machinery safely
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
- Carrying out manual handling duties
- Inspecting finished products and identifying any faults or defects
- Packing completed products ready for dispatch
- Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
- Following company health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or another hands-on environment is beneficial but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work either night or rotating shifts
