About the company
A highly established business in the Belfast area are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team, working closely with the Finance Director. This role involves taking day-to-day oversight of the finance function, overseeing and developing a small team of finance staff. with exciting growth plans in place, this is a great time to join this business, and this role would suit an ambitious qualified accountant, who is looking for a varied role with the opportunities to progress in their career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing the finance team
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Tax compliance
- Oversight of the year end audit process
- Cashflow management
- Driving a culture of process improvement across the finance function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to manage a small team
