Summary

A temporary Maintenance Operative responsible for applying bathroom sealant and completing sealing tasks across various bathroom fixtures to ensure water‑tight, safe, and hygienic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Sealant Application – Apply silicone or appropriate bathroom sealant to baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and any other required fixtures.
• Surface Preparation – Clean, dry, and prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and long‑lasting results.
• Inspection Work – Identify areas requiring resealing, including worn, cracked, or mould‑affected sealant.
• Removal Tasks – Safely remove old or damaged sealant before applying new material.
• Quality Assurance – Ensure all sealing work is completed to a high standard, leaving clean, neat finishes.
• Tool Handling – Use sealant guns, scrapers, smoothing tools, and cleaning agents safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Experience with Sealant – Previous experience applying bathroom or construction sealant is preferred.
• Attention to Detail – Ability to produce clean, precise finishes.
• Physical Capability – Comfortable working in small spaces and performing manual tasks.
• Health & Safety Awareness – Understanding of safe handling of tools and materials.
• Reliability- Able to complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
