About you:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with practical, hands-on experience
- Strong attention to detail coupled with strategic insight
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS and taxation legislation
- Proven experience managing statutory and management accounts
- Leadership experience in mentoring and developing finance teams
- Available at short notice
What you’ll do:
- Lead the preparation of management and statutory financial reports, including KPIs and commentary
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Manage the audit process and external reporting requirements, including grant submissions
- Supervise transactional finance activities and treasury operations
- Drive improvements in ERP systems, focusing on automation and process efficiencies
- Support compliance with HMRC and internal policies
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a collaborative environment
- Build strong cross-departmental relationships to inform strategic financial decisions
