• Take full operational responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse on your shift (through FLM’s and Team Leaders)• Lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging targets• Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all, to improve employee engagement• Identify cost saving initiatives and implement corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse operation• Strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with Health & Safety policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
Requirements
- Previous experience at a minimum of First Line Manager level, within a large, fast-paced warehousing environment
- Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
- Excellent people skills – the ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
