Setting Out Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support a major construction project, responsible for accurate setting out and surveying activities across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Set out works accurately using total stations, GPS and surveying equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and coordinates.
• Provide levels, grids and control points for construction teams.
• Carry out quality checks and record survey data.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer within construction/civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles and construction drawings.
• Competent with Total Station, GPS and AutoCAD.
• Relevant engineering/surveying qualification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to H&S.
• CSCS or equivalent site certification.
