CNC Miller Programmer, Wednesbury
Salary – £20 – £23 per Hour | Overtime Available | Early Friday Finish | Permanent Position
Are you an experienced CNC Miller Programmer looking for a role that offers job security, overtime opportunities, and a great work-life balance?
We’re recruiting for a well-established engineering manufacturer specialising in precision steel and duplex castings. This is a hands-on programming role where you’ll be involved from programming through to machine set-up, proving out programs, and supporting production.

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
Responsibilities
- Offline programming using Fusion 360 or similar CAM software
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Proving out and optimising programs on the shop floor
- Working with FANUC, HURCO, or similar controls
- Reading engineering drawings
- Producing precision machined components
- Carrying out quality inspections and process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ CNC programming experience
- CNC milling background
- Experience with CAM software such as Fusion 360
- Knowledge of FANUC, HURCO, or other CNC controls
- Ability to set and prove out programs
- Hands-on approach to machining and manufacturing
