Complex Care Assistant/Support Worker

Pay: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour plus pension and holiday pay, equating to £17.31 – £18.47 per hour. Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week, with flexible shifts and opportunities for short or 12‑hour shifts, day or night work.

Role

Provide person‑centred care to female clients in their homes, supporting a range of complex health needs including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, neurological disorders and mental health. Duties include:

• Assist with mobility, meals, household tasks and medication administration.
• Provide specialist support such as PEG feeding, suctioning and tracheostomy care.
• Offer transport services when required.
• Maintain privacy, dignity and safeguarding considerations at all times.

Qualifications

• Female applicant only, in accordance with a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
• NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care.
• Minimum 3 months of hands‑on care experience in a UK care setting or familial support.
