Residential Housing Standards Officer

East Herts Council seeks a Technical Officer (Residential) to join our housing team. You will respond to service requests, carry out inspections and investigations, and encourage landlords to remedy defects while taking appropriate enforcement action where necessary.

You will help bring HMOs up to standard and actively seek out unlicensed HMOs, supporting residents through a proactive approach in housing standards and regulatory compliance.
