What will you be doing?Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across critical site infrastructureMaintaining electrical distribution systems, motors, drives, switchgear, MCCs and control panelsSupporting control systems and instrumentation maintenanceFault finding, repairs and rectificationCompleting inspections and maintenance recordsSupporting site operations and occasional UK travelWorking safely in line with legislation and site proceduresSupervising other operatives where required
Where will you be doing it?You’ll be joining an organisation operating and maintaining critical oil and fuel infrastructure supporting UK defence operations. The site is highly regulated, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and environmental standards.
What will you need?NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalentRecognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training18th Edition (BS7671)Minimum 2 years’ post-apprenticeship electrical experienceElectrical maintenance experience, including motors, switchgear and MCC/control panels2391 or equivalent inspection and testing qualificationFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel occasionally and stay overnightHazardous / COMAH experience desirableCompEx EX01-EX04 desirableInstrumentation experience advantageous; training providedMedically fit for breathing apparatus and confined space trainingFull colour vision required
