Maintenance Operative – Canary Wharf£35,000 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive and PPM maintenance
• General repairs including minor plumbing, painting and decorating
• Building inspections
• Upkeep of plant rooms, communal areas and building systems.
• Working with contractors to resolve maintenance issues
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents
• Promote standards of Health & Safety.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Maintenance Operative, Maintenance Technician etc.
• Strong all-round maintenance skills, including painting, decorating and basic plumbing repairs.
• Ideally either:
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, or
  • Recognised Electrical Installation qualification with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety
• Experience working in a Passivhaus or other sustainable building is desirable

Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rota between 8am–8pm, Monday to Friday, with one weekend in the rota and occasional on-call cover (1–2 times per year).
