My client are recruiting Residential Support Workers to join an ambitious local Council who are opening brand new children’s homes supporting vulnerable young people in Tiverton
Working within a residential community setting, you will support children and young people aged 5-18 who have experienced significant childhood trauma, including exploitation, neglect, domestic abuse, and violence.Your role will be to provide stability, guidance, and support, helping them process their experiences and develop a more positive outlook for the future.

Due to the nature of residential care, flexibility is essential.The role includes:
- Long shifts, including occasional 24-hour shifts
- Overnight sleep-in duties
- Alternate weekend working
- Staying beyond scheduled shift times when necessary to ensure safe handovers and support young people’s routines

What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people
- Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including weekends and sleep-ins
- Emotional resilience, self-awareness, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries
- An open, honest, and reflective approach to your work
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- A UK driving licence
