Pertemps are recruiting an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a busy Facilities Management team in Gillingham, Kent on a temporary assignment.

If you’re a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoy a varied role covering painting and decorating, we’d love to hear from you.

• Location: Gillingham, Kent
• Pay Rate: £16.97 per hour PAYE (paid weekly)
• Contract: Temporary Assignment (01 September 2026 – 31 October 2026)
• Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekend work may be required
• Basic DBS check required, or willingness to undertake one

The RoleAs a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of decorating and maintenance tasks across facilities, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

Painter & Decorator Key Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior painting and decorating
• Surface preparation including sanding, filling and cleaning
• Applying paint, gloss, varnish and specialist finishes
• Touch-up, repair and maintenance work
• Ensuring all work areas are left clean and tidy
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
• Delivering excellent customer service and workmanship
