HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with a long-established Northern Ireland Practice to recruit a Newly Qualified Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant, who’s ready to take the next step in their career, to join a well-established finance team

About the role

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Completion of year-end accounts under FRS 102 and UK GAAP
• Supporting audit engagements from planning through to completion (where applicable)
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
• Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients
• Assisting with ad hoc advisory and consultancy assignments

About you

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Previous experience within a practice environment
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
