Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Mechanic or Mobile Plant Engineer to join a long-established heavy industrial manufacturer in Darley Dale.

This is a temp to perm days-based role maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles, mobile plant and heavy industrial equipment.

Duties include:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Servicing commercial vehicles and mobile plant
• Mechanical fault finding and repairs
• Hydraulic, pneumatic and braking systems
• Breakdown repairs
• Welding and fabrication (desirable)
• Completing maintenance records
• Working safely within a heavy industrial environment

You’ll need:

• Experience as a Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Mobile Plant Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or Agricultural Engineer
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Full UK Driving Licence

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Plant, Mechanical or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is desirable but not essential.
