Position Overview

Ideal Recruit is seeking motivated Class 1 HGV (C+E) Night Drivers to join a well-established logistics operation in Birmingham.

This is a stable, long-term opportunity offering full-time guaranteed hours. We warmly welcome newly qualified Class 1 drivers looking to gain valuable commercial experience, as well as experienced drivers seeking steady night work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating night shifts with typically 1 to 3 “wave” runs per shift.
• Handling palletised freight, including loading and unloading.
• Completing essential delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards on the road.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence (minor endorsements only, no CD/DD/DR/IN codes).
• Flexible, positive attitude with a strong commitment to vehicle safety and reliability.
