Salary: £42,000 + Benefits

Working hours: Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00

Contract: Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a critical healthcare contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, maintaining critical electrical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient operation of essential services.

Working closely with the Estates team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime and supporting a safe, compliant environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
• Ensuring electrical installations comply with current regulations and industry standards
• Supporting statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements
• Responding to emergency breakdowns and prioritising critical systems
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CAFM system
• Liaising with contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of engineering works
• Following all Health & Safety procedures while working within a live critical environment

What we’re looking for:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering
• AM2 Qualification
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Healthcare or a similar maintenance environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience working within a healthcare or critical environment
• Experience working on critical building services infrastructure
• Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems
