Support Worker/Personal Assistant – Hawick – 3164

A gentleman living in Hawick, who has Parkinson’s disease, is looking for a personal assistant to help him with 3 x 1-hour visits per week to support hm with showering and attending to his personal care safely and efficiently.

Terms:

• Hours of work: 3 x 1-hour visits per week (3 hours total)
• £14.05 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

Job Description

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
• To support with personal care routine and showering routine.
• Use of equipment to ensure the client mobilises safely and securely.
• To support with general care needs including:
  • Medication prompts
  • Meal and drink preparation.
• To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
