Gardener – Dunstable

Gardener Location: Dunstable, LU5 Salary: £28,147 Hours: 35 Per week

We are recruiting a Permanent Gardener on behalf of our client, helping to keep their residential estates clean, attractive, and thriving all year round. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where the impact of your work is appreciated every day. You will be part of a supportive team and will be given the tools and training you need to succeed.

What You will Do

• Carry out scheduled grounds maintenance across multiple estates
• Plant and maintain seasonal flower beds, hedges, shrubs, and turf
• Weed, spray, and perform seasonal leaf clearance
• Operate and maintain a range of manual and powered gardening tools
• Apply and store chemicals safely in accordance with regulations
• Remove and dispose of green waste responsibly
• Assist with landscaping projects and ongoing improvements
• Respond to urgent issues such as vandalism, hazards, or defects
• Follow all health & safety procedures and wear PPE as required

What You will Need

• Full UK driving licence (you will be using company vehicles)
• Experience in gardening or grounds maintenance
• Ability to safely operate horticultural machinery and tools
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Basic understanding of health & safety regulations
• PA1 & PA6a pesticide certificates – desirable, not essential
• A satisfactory Basic DBS check
