Morson Edge is currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to work for a leading construction materials business based in Ewenny.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious operator to join a busy site, working with aggregates and asphalt (tarmac) production.

Duties

• Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently.
• Loading hoppers and feeding materials into the production plant.
• Stockpile management and movement of aggregates.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping across site.
• Supporting site operations as required.

Requirements

• Valid Loading Shovel ticket (CPCS, NPORS or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating loading shovels within a quarry, asphalt, aggregates or similar environment.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with a good work ethic.
