We are recruiting for an experienced Skip Driver with a Class 1 license. The role will involve operating skip trucks with a trailer, delivering and collecting skips to commercial customers nationwide.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm, hours may vary during busier periods.Basic rate of pay: £14.50 per hour.
Responsibilities:Delivering and collecting skips using Class 1&2 vehicles with trailer.Ensuring all loads are transported safely and securely.Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues.Completing delivery paperwork
Requirements:Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV license.Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.Previous skip or hook loader experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.Experience towing a trailer.Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
