Simply Education is working with a welcoming nursery in North Hykeham (LN6) who are looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional looking for a stable role with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The nursery is looking for someone who can commit to 4 or 5 days per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
About the Role
You will play an important part in providing high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children within the nursery.
The role will involve:
* Supporting children’s learning and development through engaging activities and play.* Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment.* Following the EYFS framework and supporting children’s individual learning journeys.* Completing observations and contributing to assessments.* Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.* Encouraging children’s confidence, independence and social development.* Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery room.* Working collaboratively with the wider nursery team.
We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years or Nursery qualification.* Have experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery setting.* Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework.* Be caring, patient and enthusiastic.* Be reliable and committed to providing high-quality childcare.* Be confident working as part of a team and using their own initiative.* Be available to work 4 or 5 days per week, with shifts between 7am and 6pm.
