Key Responsibilities:· Support the design and development of the company's outdoor leisure product range, from concept through to production.· Create clear, detailed drawings, diagrams, and supporting documentation using CAD software (Solidworks and Illustrator).· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs for manufacturability, assembly, usability, durability, and cost.· Work directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners to review samples, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the finished product matches the design intent.· Keep organised records of design iterations, sample feedback, and testing outcomes.· Write up engineering change reports to help drive product improvements and support production updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related engineering/design discipline.· Confident using CAD software to develop and communicate designs (Solidworks and Illustrator ideal but not essential).· Solid grounding in product development and design for manufacture, with an interest in creating well-engineered, real-world products.· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance creativity, functionality, durability, and manufacturability.· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
