A structural steel specialist is currently looking for a permanent Trainee Tekla Detailer / Draughtsman to produce accurate 3D steel models and fabrication drawings while training alongside experienced detailers in London.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum (DOE) + monthly performance bonus

Contract: Permanent

Duties

• Learn to create detailed 3D steel models using Tekla Structures
• Produce fabrication drawings in line with company standards
• Assist with project coordination alongside senior detailers
• Communicate with clients, engineers and architects
• Liaise with suppliers when required
• Support multiple projects and deadlines

Requirements

• Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction or similar (preferred)
• Recent graduates welcome
• Experience with Tekla Structures or other CAD software advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Organised, eager to learn, with a positive attitude
