Class 2 Driver

Salary: GBP18.05 – GBP36.1 per hour

CLASS 2 DRIVER REQUIRED FOR A WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY

Monday to Friday 0630 – 1500/1800

Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holiday overtime paid.

Must have valid tacho and cpc card.

At least 1 Year experience preferably in the wastemanagent sector but not essential.

• Material Collection – Emptying designated recycling bins (plastics, paper, glass, metals) into the collection vehicle.
• Sorting & Quality Control – Checking for contamination (e.g., food waste in paper bins) and ensuring correct materials go into the right compartments.
• Route Efficiency – Working as part of a team to follow a scheduled pick-up route, keeping to time while maintaining thoroughness.

DRIVERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO ASSIST WITH THE COLLECTIONS AND WILL ALSO BE RECYCLING AND GENERAL WASTE COLLECTIONS.
