Property Paralegal
Location: BelfastSalary: Up to £35k DOEWorking Pattern: Hybrid
Nixon McQuade is working with a well-established Belfast law firm to recruit a PropertyParalegal to join its busy property department.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced paralegal or legal support professional who has worked within conveyancing and is looking to join a progressive firm.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced conveyancing team, you will provide support across a varied property caseload and assist with the progression of matters from instruction through to completion.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting solicitors with residential conveyancing transactions
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence and completion paperwork
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Carrying out property searches and assisting with title documentation
- Preparing files for completion
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files
- Providing regular updates to clients throughout transactions
- Supporting the wider conveyancing team with day-to-day case management
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience within conveyancing, a paralegal role or a legal support position
- Previous property or conveyancing experience
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage a busy workload and competing deadlines
- A professional and client-focused approach
